Conspiracy theories normally surround some huge event that gets the attention of people all over the globe. The event has to be something of importance that touches the heart of the people and stirs up some type of emotions. These events normally revolve around some kind of historical, social or political event. The perpetrator who caused the event is usually someone with lots of power or some secret organization.

4. Global Warming – The theories surrounding global warming claim that the results of the studies provided for the public are false. It’s believed it’s all a big hoax to trick the public into making changes for other reasons they don’t want to make known.
5. The AIDS/HIV Virus – The original theory is that AIDS was transferred to humans from monkeys in the 1930’s. However, the conspiracy theory states that the virus was man-made and that the CIA or some other form of government created it. The reasons for creating it vary. Some believe it was a bio-weapon that simply got out of control while others believe it was made to target both African-Americans and homosexuals.
